Our state forests are being managed unsustainably. Recent newspaper coverage shows that harvests are at record levels while rare forests are opened to clear-cutting and gravel pits are called conservation areas. The State Forester and Chair of the Board of Forestry have shut down conservation members of the Board by refusing to put conservation items on the agenda and ignoring requests for basic information. Let the Board of Forestry and Governor know that you do not support their approach and change is needed.
Tell the Governor to stand up for Oregon's forests, fish, and wildlife.
You can message Governor Kate Brown on Facebook or Twitter.
